I am a writer, and one of my characters is tortured with electric shocks. I try to explain to the readers their opinion on what you feel. The building is torture is very, very cold. Yes, of course. I burned the hell out of my hand in my diet (not required), then burn and a fan blowing on my sunburn. It felt good as hell hurt for some time after epilogues.
